How we support you

As a Franchisee you will be joining a business that is totally committed to delivering high quality service to customers (both children and parents) and training for staff.

Our expertise will enable you to hit the ground running, so that when the time comes for you to launch your Irish franchise business you are ready and able.

The Training Programme is not just focused on the core activities of Academies and Parties and all Franchisees must complete a two week course that will include:

• The academy programme
• Popstar parties
• Sales and marketing
• Customer service
• Administration and accounts
• Running the business

The programme will cover all you need to know about how to operate the system and will give you an opportunity to develop a working relationship with the management team. The two week programme is a mix of classroom training and "out in the field" working with the owners of the business.

However, that is just the beginning of our support process. Throughout the year we will be running training seminars to keep Franchisees updated on new developments in the systems and the marketplace.

Marketing and Brand Support

Our passion is to make Popstars Academy the market leader ‘Dance Tuition & Party’ business in Ireland and we have a brand plan that will develop as we roll out across the country. In addition to ensuring that the Academies and Parties are operated in a consistent manner through set up, equipment and planning, we have also developed a local marketing tool kit that will support you to market the business effectively in your territory.

At the Popstars Academy we strongly believe in the power of progressive marketing which includes our website, database and a structured advertising campaign to promote our brand, paying particular attention to publications which are circulated via school book bags. We explore every opportunity to raise public awareness through our press releases and photo opportunities when working with local and national press.

Franchise Fee

Our Franchise Fee is €13,000 (exc. VAT). There are a variety of funding packages available to suit your requirements.

Fee includes:

• Licence to trade and operate under the Popstars Academy trade name in Ireland
• Two week training programme
• Branding and stationery pack
• Launch programme (e.g. Direct mail campaign, local press advertising and PR, product catalogues and price lists)
• Local marketing tool-kit
• Operations manual and training materials

Equipment Package

Franchisees will be required to purchase an equipment package that includes all the kit required to operate both the Academies and Parties. The package costs in the region of €5,000 (exc. VAT) and is a contractual obligation.

Marketing Launch

Popstars Academy will provide each franchisee with a launch package as part of the franchise fee but we would also expect franchisees to contribute their own working capital in order to get the business off to the best possible start.

On-Going Fees

Franchisees will pay 2 on-going fees:

• A Management Fee based on 10% of gross sales revenue
• A Sales and Marketing Fee based on 2% of gross sales revenue

Popstars will initially provide a 3 month 'No fee' period to enable you to build up your income and get you off to a good start.

We can also provide support in sourcing initial funding to suit your circumstances as we have worked in conjunction with a number of the leading Franchise Banks.

A Popstars franchise is open to everyone.  Potential franchisees do not need to be dance instructors themselves, but would simply employ qualified staff to run their activities whilst they enjoy the creativity of the business as a whole.
