Who we are

The Mr Electric concept was originated in 1994 in Texas, USA by the Dwyer Group. Mr Electric is a global organisation with over 200 franchisees located throughout the world including USA, Canada, Portugal, UK and now Ireland.

Mr Electric was first launched in the UK in 1997, when it was owned by a major utilities company. Since its management buyout in 2003 by C.C. Houlston (Franchising) Ltd, the company has seen rapid growth. The network and system sales have more than doubled and it has established Mr Electric as a quality brand working with key strategic partners such as npower, Homeserve and B&Q.
