Dermot had a background in accountancy and was the finance director for a plant and machinery company. After being made redundant, Dermot decided to look t being his own boss. Nervous about starting out on his own led Dermot to look at the security net of franchising.

Dublin based, Simon Linscheid is one of Card Connection’s most successful franchisees and has almost doubled the size of his business within four years. He has grown his team to six employees and now supplies 250 retailers with Card Connection’s quality greetings cards and accessories.
Eamonn Ryan joined the Original Poster Company (OPC) greetings card franchise in 2013 having accepted a voluntary redundancy package from a major beverage company he had been working for for over 30 years.
John Miles is the new master franchisee for Sherpa Kids Ireland; THE out of school hours experts. After much research into opportunities, John identified a gap in the market for after school care in Ireland. With no franchise opportunities in Ireland, he decided to look beyond and soon came across the Sherpa Kids opportunity. John now has plans to expand Sherpa Kids throughout Ireland.
