Denis opened his first franchise in 2000 in the Republic of Ireland. He chose Sliderobes franchise as felt like he was joining a “family” of businesses, who would help give him the confidence in what he was doing.
I had never really thought about starting my own business until I came across a Kids Party Club article in the paper. The piece was about a lady who was in a simular situation to me in that her kids were now going to school and she was looking for something that would give her a better home/work life.

Both Catherine and Stephen are qualified fitness instructors and Catherine was manager of one of the most successful Curves franchises in Ireland. Catherine wanted to run a business of her own and saw franchising as a way of ‘getting there faster’.
